“Normal people”. I would not class Aiya as normal in any way, shape, or form.

Good point- fixed, also fixed the description, first off, it wasnt talking about Aiya being a normal person, Aiya is not a goddess, but it meant that some of the gods function a lot like the worlds NPCs (which are like real humans not standard video game NPCs).
Yeah, I got the gist of what you meant, it was just humorous to conflate Aiya as being normal.

Still have to say, I love the design of Kaala. She looks like a being beyond this world – unique and mysterioius, but still human.
I am totally a fan of her hair und the horns and I love the small pouting.
I’d recommend Kaala take a rolled-up newspaper or a squirt bottle to Aiya…

I’m thinking about if Kaala is an AI or an old player. Also how much does she know about what happened to the world? Even is she is an AI like the rest of the NPC-s, she must be older than anyone else we’ve seen so far.
I’ve been suspecting something like that, either an old player or an AI. I’m also thinking that either way, she’s probably more likely than anyone else we’ve seen so far, to have some idea about what happened to the world.
I’d had a similar theory to guest and Red – that Kaala is an old player, and Sena is either ALSO a player or an old ally of theirs – such that it makes Kaala feel awkward for a friend they’d known in the past to address her as a superior like this.
That aside, the power dynamics we’re seeing here with her and Aiya are definitely interesting. I wonder how much Aiya has managed to manipulate her goddess, and how much of Aiya’s own ascension has been a result of that.
Does prickly beard and cheek pinching count as hurting a kid? By daughter sure thinks it does, but also knows that saying so ends with a hug which inevitably means my chin rubbing on her.
