So! I’ve been sick all weekend, I am doing a bit better now! At least I don’t feel like a zombie. I’m still a little sluggish, but everything should still be on track.

if you didn’t care about the world or people in it very much sure it might be an easy yes
but it would be important to hear what the catches might be before making a final decision
“Kaylin, if someone asks you, ‘Do you want to be a god,” the answer is ‘Yes’!”
—Mangled quote from Ghostbusters
I came here to say just that and you had me beaten! XD
Same. XD
Don’t make the same mistake as Stantz, Kaylin. When a Outerworld omnipotent Being is asking you if you want/are a God, answer……YES !!! >_<
Hm pass, the gods have a rather heavy handed boss, shifting to working under her would mean she changes how she interacts and things that gained favors become expected.
“Depends. What are the downsides?”
In panel 1, “went” doesn’t need an apostrophe.
In-universe, the question is how demi-gods qualify for reincarnation, since Ellesia has made sure no one besides herself is invulnerable.
“Wen’t”
You know… sometimes you make a typo, and sometimes, you make a typo so stupid, it’s physically painful.
They’ve just recently had a lesson on some of the downsides of divinity. Why is that even a question, Nyna? I mean assuming a “no” is also not called for, but she’s a thinker who tries to consider all the angles; she’s going to think it through.
You never saw a contraction for “we not”? *l*
“Excuse me, do you rule the Universe?”
“I try not to.”
–Douglas Adams, The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
there’s also the issue of things becoming too easy.
With great power comes great responsibilty, that and it gets harder to blame things on other people when you’re that much more powerful than they are 😉
There’s no apostrophe in “WENT”.
“went not wen’t”
…uh oh
If she becomes a demigod would she need to give up her monster girlfriend? Also, what rumors would the sun god spread about her?
The fact that she hesitates is part of why she’s eligible.
“Behold, you’re a genie, all powerful and here’s your lamp.”
“If someone asks you if you’re a god, you say *yes*
But if somebody asks if you want to be a god, you’ve already failed. Why did they have to ask? Why did you let them ask? Why weren’t you already a god?! You’re really bad at this, Ray.”
Sighs i was going to post something, but edge reset on me and i lost it.
But kaylin should turn it down because she’d just be seen as tool/weapon for the gods to fix thing.
Second, she NOT full god. she would be a demi-god she can still be killed to be clear she’d be this games version of Hercules.
and she doesn’t know what being a demi-god would detail and if she’d have to sacrifice her loved ones and friends if anything and be on “call” for the gods
I can see all types of downsides to becoming a demigod / lighting rod for the gods, but what are the perks of the job?
They would need to be substantial to get her fo comr on board!
She is already doing clean-up for the gods on the side. I assume a demi god has even more work like that.
While being able to teleport (if that is one of the perks) all over the world would cut down on travel time, but the gods could put even more work on her. It would probably also cut down on the nightly ‘rest’ stops with her Mistress.
