Would be weird to just have admin access on a player account and MIGHT be a little weird to be part of a PK guild while also being an Admin… I mean, it’s totally possible to have something like that, but it sure does look weird. You go in to work, you get all these complaints about issues in the game, and it turns out, one of the admins has snapped, and had their Admin enabled PC join a murder gang… “Bill, we gotta talk about this- You can’t just murder player characters because they reported an issue-“

“So hard to find good gods”. Oh, ain’t that the truth!

PS Should be “wary”, not “warry”, unless Elli is feeling combative about the situation…!

The problem is that they are all noobs and there is no guidebook.
And even those theoretically more experienced gods aren’t exactly up to snuff.
Like Lyrestra ignoring that her own believers are being suppressed because Correndel can’t communicate clearly with his followers.

And that’s why it didn’t get flagged by spell check but should have been flagged by Grammar check… Granted, even if it had, I probably would have messed up typing it out again anyways. Copy and pasting into Clip is kind of a pain and I often need to change some wording on the fly to make text fix in comic bubbles!

It feels like a scene was skipped, Kaylin identified the player as part of a specific PK guild but we haven’t seen her receive any name or description of the player to be able to identify them off of.

It’s a bit of a “read between the lines” bit, but the whole point of the conversation and the hinting between them, without outright saying it Lyrestra has confirmed that the person they have been discussing, is the same person who trained the Former King from 2 chapters ago. He was trained by someone with connections to or a former member of the Gorgons. Lyrestra’s whole point for talking about him- is because his actions are directly affecting her people now. Which puts him on her radar and Elli has asked her for aid in learning more about him.

Gods in this world are leaders of intelligence gathering networks with goals generally involving the furthering of their goals both personal and for their worshippers.

Lyrestra talking about it with Kaylin at all is because Lyrestra knows that these people are the same. She doesn’t want to say too much or else it might taint Kaylin’s deductions based on the information she has. So she want’s to know how far she can get, and she’s added a bit over time to help her continue.

It works like this, Kaylin goes into the conversation knowing it has to do with something they are embroiled in currently, and that is their run in with the King and their Kingdom that was attacking Elves (and Monsters). Lyrestra even says it’s related to the recent events, and that accidental adventurer is related. Kaylin realizes they are one in the same, and Lyrestra’s response was “We knew you were the right one to bring here” – which is low key saying she is correct. From there they discuss how that person could have such a power.

So, nothing was skipped, everything is there, just no one has said “To be clear, yes they are one in the same” they just implied it and I get some people don’t put those together, but it’s not really in the character to rehash that out over again. Now- someone like Nyna who isn’t socially adept- probably my go to later on for Kaylin to give her the short version of this whole conversation.

Ok, so the reason for my comprehension issue is that it relies on remembering two specific lines from over a year ago, might have been helpful to have had a statement or just a line of thought mentioning it like “I recently learned of one Adventurer causing problems, who had access to things they shouldn’t have.” and the latter part would have shown a reason to suspect the same person given the monster from a street fighter/mortal combat type fighting game she had to fight and caused her costume change.
