Well… That is… Unfortunate. Also- petrifying gaze that doesn’t need you to maintain eye contact? That’s pretty scary, also they are freak’n huge!

Ooh look- Gorgons!
Also- first!
Hopefully just the monster, and not someone from the player group. Would expect a lot of collateral damage in this crowd….
That’s is not the ballroom blitz I was expecting.
The girl in the corner tried to warn you.
Waitaminute, gorgons? Shouldn’t they be part of the monster faction? Unless the monster faction is more divided than Kaala made it sound..
They might be controlled by someone, so attacking is either not their free will or they have been turned into a frenzy intentionally, i suspect.
Well, I guess this explains the chapter title.
Not sure what the ‘Kzzt! Pop!’ near the top of the fifth panel are. The electric lights blowing out?
Not electric lights, but yes the lights. They are magic. Callum has been able to make some electrical devices but nothing that is sustainable for a long time and no large scale options for generation.
Whoever’s behind this is not playing around! Now the question is: are these still a serious threat for Kaylin and Nyna?
And here they come !
As it was foretold many many weeks ago in the reflection of Kaylin’s blade on the cover art of this chapter.
That’s not good…
I have to assume there’s a way to remove that status effect, though since an insta-kill attack you can’t recover from is generally not good game design.
HOLY CRAP
Aw hell naw! That’s the best way to describe this situation if you ain’t the main characters.
The guard got stoned so he missed it.
