i don’t feel so
there were no stakes or rules
kaylin was making an opening for their enemies by causing a distraction
the stake was to get everyone’s eyes on her and i guess to embarrass the earl

That is certainly one way to deal with such a rude person! Not to mention an effective means of saying to the other guests: Don’t insult Kaylin!

You know, depending now drunk he already was, she might have been killing him- LD50 for alcohol is around 13 shots. A bit more for the earl probably, since he’s a bit heavier set.
Then again, I doubt Elli was has acute ethanol toxicity programmed in (it doesn’t seem like something Callum would have fixed yet either) so alcohol probably works approximately how we expect it to work- if you drink too much you might pass out, but you only die from choking on vomit or the like (if that) not from the ethanol removing your ability to breathe like a neurotoxin.
I feel like we missed a page.
Or at least a panel? Something setting the stakes? The rules?

are you talking 13 shots of spirits… they are often around 40% alcohol by volume
wine is much weaker by comparison
