So far, there’s a clear improvement in capabilities with skills, and most specifically her Spell Thief can steal up to 5 spells and hold them, and she can in some way change the magic, but it retains it’s elemental requirements. Unshown but implied is that the spell can not be scaled up, so a Fireball can become firebolts or a fire arrow, but it can’t become a Hellfire Explosion! While a Hellfire explosion could become any of the lower tier fire spells. That said, even if the spell is split up to make multiples, it can’t be like half a spell and half held for later, each spell needs to be fully cast when cast, otherwise anything remaining of the spells magic would just fizzle out.

We know she can alter and (from the description/commentry) split the spells she steals, but can she combine spells? say somwone just starts tossing out fireballs at her, could she steal 2-3 of them and then throw back a Hellfire Explosion? or would that be a (possiable) future upgrade?

The fight showed that she can modify the spells with parts of the other, so if she catches Wind Arrow and Hellfire Explosion could she turn Hellfire Explosion into a Wind-Element Equivalent, while throwing back Fire Arrows?
