Since Nyna’s chasing him in the buff El will likely see more when he either she catches him or he looks back, and Yunn is getting a good view of her right now! As for Kaylin herself, I put it at a 50/50 chance whether she plays it classy by getting ‘somewhat’ dressed before walking out, or just following Nyna’s lead and walking out into the hallway as she is – knowing it’ll tease Yunn and fluster El even further.
The rotated camera view in the first panel is great, though it took me a second to recognize that the glowing ‘window blinds’ were meant to tell us that they are actually lying down. For my own entertainment I rotated the whole comic 90 degrees, and it looks good that way too 🙂 I get the composition of the two side ‘reaction panels’ needed it to be done this way though.
It’s also amusing that Kaylin’s hearing (and other senses) continues to be better than a Nekomata’s! No wonder the kitty is chasing him, she doesn’t like being caught off guard and must exact her ‘revenge’!
Kaylin’s training as a dark elf and one of her few magical skills make having a very high perception a very important part of her skillset. As mentioned, Nyna’s natural talents are most of what she has. She has training, but it’s nothing like what Kaylin has been through (real or not).
Good catch on the purpose of the window blinds. That was exactly the point of them.
As for Nyna chasing him – she’s effectively acting on instinct but she’s aware of what she’s doing. As I’ve mentioned before, Nyna actually likes El and Yunn. El a bit more because of how Yunn treated her when they first met, but she understands it. Treating them like just people (Or rather monsters? XD) shows her growth and change in views, identifying threats and allies by tying to judge the character rather than the assumed allegiances. Her senses actually provide a lot of help in that way, but she certainly lets her guard down when she’s comfortable and around people she likes…
It’s a very catlike thing to do, chasing after a friend who just made you move from a comfy spot so you can brawl with them for a bit. ^_^ I recognize this from when last when we had more than one cat in the house at the same time.
And this is why sage loves cat tails, a thin and easily positionable convenient censorship. Letting him draw near nudity with little hassle.
