Wandering Home – 13

It was a dark and stormy night… XD Writing memes. Anyone find Thunderstorms sometimes comfy? Sure, it sucks if your power goes out- but when your comfy in your home as the wind and rain pelts your windows and thunder cracks in the distance it’s very moody.

Thunderstorms are nature’s way of saying: “All your little plans and tricks count for naught! But, I am merciful, so have a pretty light show.”

A silly part of me expected to see a little water pooling in Kaylin’s waterproof slime cleavage in that last panel, or at least visibly running over some of those outfits! Nyna looks practically dry, though it’s hard to tell.

Thunderstorms definitely come in a variety of flavors. Pleasant rumbling in the distance and zen white noise rain is good. Abrupt no-warning DEATHBOOM that feels like it hit somewhere right outside and makes you jump – less fun. Also gets compounded if you have dogs or other animals that do not enjoy the thunder. But agreed, when it’s a calmer storm it can definitely be a good ‘indoor’ mood. I especially like seeing ‘waves’ of rain made visible by wind as it lands on a flat surface with enough standing water, kinda pretty.

I witnessed a thunderstorm in Las Vegas once, and it really made me appreciate why somebody would give the name Desert Storm to a military operation! Cleared the air wonderfully, though.

talking about slime outfits, and drawing wet dark elves when can we see Nya in one of them, a few pages back Kalin said she could give Nya one of them, I think it would look great on her 😛

Thunderstorms are nice until the water starts dripping in the upstairs hallway and you look out the window and see half the shingles from the back of the house in the front yard 🙁
My mother never cared for them either, she got hit by lightning…twice.

soooooo…if the slime suits get wet, do they become see-thru, or do they dissolve away?

Probably wouldn’t make for a very good outfit if it dissolved in water…

see through, that a nice solution, especially since most elves like to show off there bodies and like to dance naked

In my part of TX we have vast open horizons with very little trees or mountains, seeing a thunderstorm rolling in or passing by in the distance is quite the sight. The clouds lighting up, the arc of the lighting dancing in and out of the clouds, its just mother nature’s light show. But I agree with the other commenters, having one right on top of you with strikes close enough to rattle your windows is not fun. *gets buried in scared dogs*
