How was the elves’ confusion over their sexuality his fault?
It’s less confusion over their sexuality and moreso their inherent “We’re better than you because .” Likely due to Correndel not caring about anything until it effects himself and so he ignored the elves until it became a problem for him, and when he DID pay attention to them he did so in the laziest way possible which the other elves either blatantly twisted to suit their purposes or as a result of his flippant wording.

He being a prude was what influenced the elves into thinking being gay was some sort of curse. C’mon… Never heard of people saying how wrong it is to be gay irl…?
I don’t think he’s a prude, just a lazy guy who grumbled about his insecurities and hangups, and let his priestess overhear what should have been his private thoughts.
When was it ever said he’s a prude? Besides, he’s gay himself. He’d be less likely to have an anti-gay agenda than many.
It was stated that he copied parameters for high elves from the humans that he didnt want to bother with- which included the no gay sex thing. Which is not an anti-gay thing as we know it, it’s more of a misunderstanding of going from a virtual world with no need for procreation suddenly needing it- and generally you wouldn’t include gay sex for procreation purposes for- obvious reasons. So for humans it became a 100% thing and not a spectrum of sexual orientation, but things in the world can influence that. However- Elves stayed away from humans, and obviously they didnt get along with monsters, nor any other races so it never manifested naturally in the time they have had. So in places with mostly high elves- it was a thing there too, until it got patched out. More diverse eleven communities didn’t have it as bad.

Hmmm, she actually didn’t immediately change size, methinks the earlier accusation that she secretly likes them that way is true… which explains why she might have let herself be manipulated. Sorta a funny little detail and why she might prefer being larger is a silly question we will probably never know and can only guess (I’m guessing she saw an uptick in young male worshipers and secretly enjoys it as a guilty pleasure like how “proper” ladies would enjoy harlequin romance novels). I asked it earlier but does the style of dress she is wearing have a name? I wanted to describe it once and realized I didn’t have a word for it (like Jeans, or Toga).
