She can’t cast those spells on her own, but now not only can she steal multiple spells, but she can alter them based on their elemental energy… It certainly can do even more but she’s only just scratching the surface, and being sneaky… Like a rogue or somethin’.

I was prepared for this to be a flashy power gimmick, but in a way this is actually very Kaylin indeed – manipulation and misdirection. We get so used to her being a powerhouse in this post-adventurer world, but it’s worth recognizing that most of her victories have come from being able to surprise opponents.
I’m curious to see how much ‘hand’ will apply to her non spell-thief skills as well – silver tongue obviously, but also any other skills she may have. I wonder if she’d be able to overcome Aiya’s “Skill crusher” abilities now by flipping the script on what skills are able to do…?
I can say right here and now it will have no affect on silver tongue, the options very specifically omitted communication skills for good reason. As her power moves into the realm of gods her skills would be more effective on them, and the last thing any of the gods want to give to a mortal or up and coming god, is the ability to manipulate them (even more than she can already).
