I wonder if this would lead any of them to asking what she’s talking about with these strange titles and mention of “games” and “send home” and so on and will ANYONE end up being a native learning about the truth of their world?
Nyna has already been told the partial truth regarding that, that adventurers are avatars for beings from another world who play around in this one
Though I don’t recall her ever being told that her world was created by the adventurer’s people
“If it’s even possible for her to do so” indeed.
After all, one of the possibilities that’s still completely compatible with what we’ve seen so far is that the original people are still home, and the characters here are primarily downloads of them that got moved from the ‘public’ server where people were playing normally to Elli’s ‘private’ server. There’s no panic about people in comas because the people are still out there, if a bit stunned from getting booted from the public server. Everybody who got moved would get to see everybody else seeing them disconnect like Kevin did at the start, and then arrive in a server where the only other people online would be ones that had been uploaded already, like Captain Mike.
In other words, nobody can be ‘sent back’ because they’re copies of the people who are still there.
Also, having just recently re-read the earlier issues… there’s one name from the first issue that would actually match our rogue adventurer’s M.O. perfectly.
Both the moon goddess and the dragon seem to know quite a little about it already.
Apparently with age comes wisdom!
