Maybe she was jealous of Kaylin? 😉

I guess after personally meeting and talking to two other gods before meeting a third one isn’t as special anymore, still that is quite the out of left field comment. So what prompted this, did she see a painting or statue of Lyrestra which looked different, or is it some skill of hers letting her know Lyrestra is using a form of disguise?

Or maybe it’s another deity we’ve seen already *ponders*

Given she’s a player character who has memories based on her backstory and likely still has fragmented knowledge from Kevin, it would be more surprising if she didn’t know what her goddess originally looked like.

My bet is she got a divine boob job, given the “urk”.

They look uncomfortable.

The gods have access to the secret “Extended Sliders” option.

Kaylin was created one notch short of the extreme end of the slider, to not be too excessive, but Gods don’t need that kind of consideration.

From reading all the above comments, she was jealous of Kaylin’s attributes?

Sage making a small breasted character?! Well I am sure she will grow as the series goes on as sage can’t help himself. I mean just look at Kate.

I’ve always felt sorry for Nyan, for having to be the only one with the slider on the other end, but at the same time I’m glad she exists like she is!

Yeah there needs to be both, otherwise nobody is stand out. And we end up with yosh, where characters get buffed over time, then the ones who are meant to be big get bigger to be more than the others, who get bigger to scale with then creep bigger over time. I mean really Kate used to be closer in size to Nyan than Kaylin.

All the little eruptions of light make it look like Lyrestra has fireworks going off around her at all times. It’s both charming and hilarious – to me, anyway. ^_^

Megamind: “Oh you’re a villain, alright. Just not a super one.”
Titan: “Yeah? What’s the difference?”
Megamind: “PRESENTATION!”

Reminds me of a novel where Lolth, the Drow Spider Goddess, had a priestess executed because the priestess had claimed to have bigger breasts than her. Lolth also had her eyes on a certain fairy and her group she wanted dead, though she liked the dress the fairy was wearing in the crystal ball.

Claimed, or did?

The novel didn’t specify. I assume that it was supposed to show Lolth’s pettiness.
On one side she has a loyal priestess killed for a claim she is in one way ‘superior’ to her goddess.
On the other she internally congratulates a mortal enemy for her choice of dress while planning to kill her.

Sounds like a take on the Greek myth of Arachne, the weaver who claimed to be a better weaver than Athena, and won a contest with a tapestry depicting the various gods at their pettiest. Athena responded by pitching a fit and getting Arachne transformed into a spider, thus kind of proving Arachne’s point for her.

What if Lyrestra uses a spell to automatically be more “outstanding” than any others nearby…and then Kaylin is nearby?
