When doing effects like this I always think, “Man this would look cooler if it was night time.” Then I think about how that would be true how limiting it would be if I always had to do this kinda stuff in the dark just so I can go nuts with blue fire and lightning bolts and glowy bits! Also, totally doesn’t fit the narrative for this to happen in the dark.
