Poms? Really, nyao? Those aren’t a threat–those are chew toys. Now something like a Rottweiler or Malamute would be a worthy challenge… Unless he’s friendly, in which case I can split a steak with him, nyao. ^_^

Of course, if the bandits are really trying to be clever, they’ll have left the bigger, heavier, more defensive folks there with orders to step on a creaky board to attract her attention at a certain time, while the faster, sneakier members of the band go after the ‘soft targets’ of the scholars and merchants…

In which case, both groups are in for a surprise.
