Only if she want’s to actually lie. She’s not trying to deceive him, she’s saying she doesn’t remember.
Sadly as you get older you do tend to forget names!
I remember both names and faces.
I don´t always remember which name goes which face.
With me its nouns, any nouns, ill be half way through a conversation, and suddenly I can’t remember the name of something.
Ok, what is it? Malichi or Malachi?
It’s a typo!
