Methinks a certain fae goddess likes big chests too.

Fae getting something they like as a bonus to “helping a friend in need” ?

Why yes yes they would, why do you ask.

Fae are all pranksters, gods included. She probably knew Correndel tended more to the flat is justice side, and was more than happy to make a little trouble.

mostly all pranksters, it’s the ones that aren’t that you really have to worry about, in those cases they’re often out for blood

So Lyrestra never thought to just… you know… sit Correndel down and talk about things?
She used to be his boss, she could’ve given him a work review. After what happened to Sol, I think Correndel would have responded toute suite, and in a better way than he did to Lyrestra ‘expanding her tracts of land’.

I don’t remember it being stated that Lyrestra was his boss. She had a bigger influence in the past and Correndel called it “playing second fiddle” to her, but that to me sounds more like a senior and junior position of similar rank.
Were you maybe thinking of Ellisia, goddess of creation? Just mentioning her had him plead for mercy.

Well, it may be a goofy explanation and perhaps the goddess of the Fae was up to a bit of mischief, but in a way, it did do the trick and kinda of helped with Correndel’s problem. The size of Lyrestra’s bust just show “how big” of a problem his problem was. ^_^’ Ha ha ha ha !

Still….the fact that Lyrestra decided to stay like that after all that make me think she also kinda like how she look and she is now. 🙂

I mean the fae goddess isn’t exactly wrong…. but just not Correndel.

That explains his disgust and panic while possessing Keilia.

He’s probably not satisfied with depictions or idols of his likeness. Maybe if his priests hid behind mirrors? Or would he be too distracted by his own reflection?

A broken clock is right twice a day (unless it’s digital… or in military time). And just because it wasn’t on purpose doesn’t mean Correndel did not do it. We can appreciate the (unwitting) sacrifice for the rest of us and the pure luck that it landed on the cusp between too large and max fun bags /salute.
